This is an ideal solution for a home media center. I have it running on my laptop. This lets me browse my music, videos and photos literally anywhere. I often plug it into a TV via my laptop’s HDMI output, letting me get the big screen experience on the fly.

Set-up is incredibly easy, consisting of two pieces of software, a server and a client. You run the server on the computer(s) that contains your media and run the client(s) on the computer(s) you want to play the files.

Just install the software, and instantly being enjoying the power of a full-fledged media center.
